Exporting more than 1,000 issues at a time

Hi,

I'm trying to export my Jira issues to a CSV file. There is built in functionality in Jira that allows me to export issues (Issues --> Search for Issues and then click on the Export link on the top right corner and choose the format I need.

However this only allows me to export 1,000 issues at a time. I have to use the search to filter out the issues until it is below 1,000.

I was wondering whether there's a way to export more than 1,000 issues at a time?

Jason

Hi @Jason Yeung ,

You can set these parameters through the UI, using the "Advanced Settings" in the Administration section.

https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/filter-export-only-contains-1000-issues-in-jira-server-191500982.html

@Ollie Guan ,

thanks for the information. I see the setting and will change if needed (balancing the quantity and memory issues).

Hi @Jason Yeung

Out of the box this is not possible. You would be better off using a 3rd party plugin that does not have this restriction.  There are a bunch of them in the marketplace.
