Getting an error "An error occurred while loading the page" when clicked on issue types

We recently imported one of the projects into our JIRA instant from a different JIRA instant.

All works fine except an error says " An error occurred while loading the page" when we clicked on the issue types which are listed in the each project (please see the screen shot attached).

This error occurs in all the projects available in our instant.
 

Can you please let us know, what might be causing this error in the application.

Please Note: we are using the JIRA of version 6.4.5

I'm afraid that's a generic message for the user, and does not tell us anything about the underlying error.

You'll need to read the application log files for more information.  <JIRA home>/log/atlassian-jira.log is the one most likely to have the actual error.  I would try reading the log live, while reproducing the error on screen - you should see the error written to it immediately.
