Recently upgraded production from Jira 4.4.3/Greenhopper 5.8.4 to Jira 5.1/Greenhopper 5.10.6 and upgraded test to
Jira 5.1/Greenhopper 6.0.1.
There are some inconsistencies in the Jira 5.1/Greenhopper 5.10.6 environment between Issue Navigator and RapidBoard
during step transition. Customized workflows with a post function transition clear the Assignee field
on step transition.
In Jira 5.1/Greenhopper 5.10.6, Issue Tracker correctly reflects that activity, while Greenhopper RapidBoard does not,
see attachment 1.
The expectation was that Greenhopper would reset the avatar when an issue transitions to Finished step. This does not
happen. Refreshing the browser does not work either. Tested with Firefox 15.0.1 and Chrome 21.0.1180.87
Results are a little better in Greenhopper 6.0.1 when an issue is transitioned to Finished. The avatar is not reset on
transition, but is reset when the issue is reordered in the Finished stack, see attachment 2.
Auto Assign is turned off on both instances and development indicated that this functionality was present in Jira
4.4.3/Greenhopper 5.8.4.
This appears similar to GHS-1990, greenhoper 4.1 does not refresh according to ussue status after worklow post function.
Has anyone seen this behavior and is there a patch of fix for this?
