Grouping by components or custom drop-down fields in JVM

Hello everyone and congratulations for the great community and the fantastic product!

I have a question about JVM (jira work management) for project management.

I need to group the kanban board, in addition to status, priority, assignee, category also for custom drop-down fields.

As an alternative to custom fields could you at least provide grouping by Components?
