Do you know how to get rid of an old field that was not added to a form but is inhibiting it from being able to be saved? The field has been removed from being associated to the project. However, the error message still pops up, not allowing the form to be used. We have searched through screens, field configurations, etc. and cannot find the root cause of this issue. We have also created a new form, and the same error pops up. It seems as though there was a legacy setting that we cannot find. Please help.

Is set on the request as a field and not in the form used on the request?
Is there no field configuration for a specific issue type that is used in the project?

I have not see that before. Can you share some screenshots? Is this a field that was linked to a Jira field?

So that sounds like it might be in the Field Configuration for the project. Check there.
