We har using the Subersion ALM plugin, but not all teams are developer so they would prefer not seeing this plugin on boards for example.

If I use the permission View Development Tools it works on the issue itself removing the tab. But not on boards. Is there a way to remove this?

Have you tried removing their "View Issue Source Tab" permission?

Where do you find that?

I think the answer to this question is to use JIRA Core. I wrote the question the same day JIRA 7.0 was released so I did not know it would help me doing this.

Thanks for answering!
