What I want to achieve is this chart, per Type of Work:
So I need to have the ability to NOT aggregate, average, summarize, group multiple, etc. Issues - I need Each issue's data to remain 100% independent.
(I also will need to separate Issues by type- not epic/story/task, but by type of request).
How can I get a table of each issue, with its type, and either a) start/end date for each state or b) number of days in each state?
(Without having to wait months/years for my company to approve paying for plugins?)
I'm happy to create these charts by manually 'exporting' the data I need, but it's not even that easy to find. Looking at History still doesn't quite work.
What I'm asking for is Basic Kanban Support, taught in the foundations class and implemented by the first software team to use the Kanban Method. It's one of the core benefits to using the Kanban Method.
Hi @Steve McGee
Based on what you want to achieve, the add-on Time in Status for Jira Cloud may be an on-point solution for you. With this tool you can easily track the number of times an issue has been in every status and the number of times a task has gone from status to status. Also, you can get the information about the time in status for each stage in workflow and date when each issue entered to each of the statuses at first.
Moreover, there are features that allow you to export data and view all reports as charts.
If you want to have a detailed view of how your issues are following the workflow, you can try Issue History. This add-on will display you the history of all changes that had been made by your team in selected issues.
Dear Steve, hi!
To get such data we used SQL query to Jira database,
Ask your jira admins to do this.
Best regards,
Vasiliy.
