Currently, when I try to move the Kanban board, it only has My Profile as an option. Is there a way to move it to another location e.g. project?
@Ross Dammann, I’m guessing this is a Business project. Atlassian made a change many months back that restrict boards “location” based upon project type. You can only have boards associated (located) directly with a project if the project is a SW type. For Business projects boards you creat can only be located under your profile. TBH I don’t find this restriction to be a big deal. If you are on the new UI experience you can add a link to the dashboard on the project page’s sidebar if desired.

It is confusing for users which use my shared boards. They constantly ask me why they see my picture in 'their' board. I would like to create a board and either locate it under a project or another user.
Does anyone know the idea behind the difference between business projects and SW projects?

Ross
you must be a board admin, and in the board configuration settings. you should be able to edit the filter query and filter shares. This should help you move it to another project. I am assuming you want to move it to when you go to another project the board resides there vs it’s current project.
Hope this helps

Both these solutions worked: -
Adding a Project = "XXX" in the filter query, AND, Changing the share to the same Project: XXX
alternatively.
Adding a Project = "XXX" in the filter query, AND, Changing the share to 'All Logged-in users"
