How can I remove this annoying ad page regarding Confluence in JIRA Cloud?

Hi,

On my project, I have a section "Pages" (in French - I don't know the name in English since there is a bug currently in JIRA Cloud: half of the app is in the language chosen in personal profile, the other half is based on the language of the browser). It displays an ad for acquiring Confluence.

I do not want to buy Confluence (in fact, I already have an internal Confluence wiki). How can I get rid of the "Pages" section in my Project's menu?

When clicking on "Créer votre première page", you should get the below screen:

And clicking on "Turn off these messages" should take you to this screen:

Have you already tried to turn off these messages like this? I have just tried to do so on my side: it looks like it doesn't take into account the fact that I chose to opt out, but it may need a few hours to process the request.

I have indeed tried this, and it also doesn't work for me: I still get the message, even if I did turn off the "product suggestions" :(

Do you think it is a bug?

Yes I do think it's a bug, it doesn't seem consistent that we opt out and still see this message :) you can reach out to Atlassian support to raise this issue - I'll wait for tomorrow morning to ensure Jira had enough time to process the request.
