I run a governance office for a large company. We have multiple workstreams and each workstream assigns work to multiple IT teams in the company. Is there a way to pull all the Epics together into a single view even if they are assigned to different ARTs/Teams?
Hey @Pamela Bereman ,
Welcome to Atlassian community!
I have understood the query and I can help you with the requirement. Jira is designed to provide precisely this kind of cross-team visibility for large organizations.
To bring all Epics together into a single roadmap view—even when they’re assigned to different teams—follow these steps:
Use the Roadmaps Feature in Jira:
Navigate to the Roadmaps module in Jira.
You can filter the roadmap by Portfolio, Program, team, or even across the entire enterprise.
To view all Epics across multiple teams, set your filters to include all relevant programs or Teams, or select “All” as needed.
Customize Your View:
Use the filtering options to display Epics by workstream, team or other custom fields.
You can group, color-code, or sort Epics based on attributes that matter to your governance office (e.g., workstream, status, owner).
Create and Share the Roadmap:
Once your roadmap view is configured, you can save it as a custom view for easy access.
Share the roadmap with stakeholders directly in Jira, or export it for presentations and reporting.
Benefits:
This approach gives you a unified, real-time view of all Epics across your organization, regardless of which team owns them.

I hope this shall help you achieve the necessary configuration, Have a good day!

Thank you for your help - does this apply to Jira Align? We don't use Jira, we use ADO with Jira Align as the enterprise tool. If it does apply to Jira Align, do you know what permissions I need to do this? Currently I can't see anything from other teams when I filter on the roadmap from within my portfolio.
