How can I unassign a user from an issue, when a project is archived? Is it possible?

Hello,

I have the follow case:

A specific project is already archived, but there are many issues assigned to a specific user, I would like to know if it is possible to unassign a user if the project is archived?

For more information there are many issues that still figures as "To Do", even when the project is closed

Thanks in advance for the help,

Hi @Carol Rodriguez ,

Simple option is to unarchive the project, do a project re-reindex, make the necessary changes and archive it back. Have few quetsions?

Are you running on JIRA Data Center? Archival is not available for JIRA software. When you archive the project,

  • The project will be restricted, and can't be viewed by anyone.
  • The project will no longer appear in project pickers, list of projects, search results, or JQL auto-complete. It won't be visible anywhere besides the Archived projects page.

So how do you see issues and their respective assignee?
