How can we add default assignee for different workflow status?

We are using JIRA Cloud instance. Can you please advice how can we add default assignee for different workflow status?

Er, the default assignee only matters when you create an issue.  So you can't have a different default by status - you only get to use it on the first status in your workflow.

You can set assignee to what you want as you progress through the workflow as agoncalves says though

Hi Dishant,

You can configure a post-function to automatically update the assignee field while transitioning through the workflow.
