How do I auto execute my filters created in jira and export the results to excel?

I'm aware of the filters and dashboards . Im aware that filter results can be exported manually to excel. 
But is there a way to auto execute the filters and export the results to excel without manual intervention? Also with out using any additional tools like Tempo??

Hi @Jeeva Kannan -- Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

Short answer: no, there is no built-in way to do that.

You already note one possible workaround of using a marketplace app / addon.  Another option is to build an application which calls the REST API to query with the filter, storing the results where needed.
