How do I do a bulk export and import of backlog items from jira cloud to jira server on prem?

If you want to take all the data (issue history, comments etc), you will need to get a backup of your Cloud system, restore it on to a development instance of Jira Server, make sure your target system is on the same version as the dev instance, go over each project included in the board and remove any issues not in the backlog, then export this again and do a project import into the target system.
