How do I insert Jira activity comments into confluence?

I'm starting with the Jira macro in Confluence and pulling in all the Epics, Stories, Tasks, & Subtasks that are assigned to a particular user. This is a good start, but ultimately, I am trying to build something for our project managers so they could pull the most recent activity/comment/blurb in each of these things so that they could just collect the blurbs, write their reports, and send them out. Is this possible? It doesn't have to be in the jira macro, willing to use whatever to get this working to cut down on duplicate work and streamline all the things.

Hi @Josh Kelahan

Welcome. There isn't a direct way to get this to show up. There is work around to bring forth the last comment of a ticket.

If you are interested, here's a post already covering it.

Hope this helps.

Thanks Ben. I had seen that earlier and I will mark it as the answer. I was hoping there was some jql magic I could do to pull the info. But alas.

Most welcome. JQL will return back the list of issues. The gap is returning specific info or value back. Hence, where the work around comes into play to fulfill the missing piece of the puzzle.
