How do I remove an add-on from View Issue screen?

How do I control what Add-ons are visible on the right side of the View Issue screen (under People and Dates)? Some of them are just irrelevant on this screen to all users.

Unless an add-on explicitly codes for "only show me in some places", there is nothing you can do to hide them when you feel like it.  The decision is entirely up to the add-on.  (Asking JIRA is useless, all it can say is "this add on says I need to show it here)

This is completely true. However, you can raise an issue with the add-on vendor themselves by going to their Atlassian Marketplace listing and clicking on their support channel.

@Kathy Tempesta can you please tell me which add-on vendors you think are showing up too frequently in the sidebar for people that they should not show up for? I might be able to help bring this to the attention of our excellent (and responsive) developer ecosystem or make the appropriate issue in Atlassian's backlog. Cheers.
