How to add a custom report chart as a gadget?

We are using Jira Software Data Center 8.9.1. I have created a custom report chart, Not Started vs Request Assigned Chart. I want to add it as a gadget to the dashboard. When I went to "Add gadget" on the dashboard, I can't find it. However, I saw "Created vs. Resolved Chart" there to add.  How can I add my custom "Not Started vs Request Assigned Chart" as a gadget on my dashboard.

How are you creating this "custom report chart"?

I created the report chart on Project - Reports. Now I want to add it to the Dashboard as gadget.

I thought so.  The report you have created is a report.  It is not a new type of gadget.

In that case, is there any way I can create a custom report chart gadget?

Have a look at the existing gadgets to see if they can do similar reporting, then head out to the marketplace to look for more.  You could also write your own (coding needed though)
