How to change date format to Brazil format?

The language of jira is set to Portuguese Brazil, the format also shows dd / mm / yyyy, but when I create a date field it does not come in the format of Brazil but in the USA format, including the text in the calendar. How do I resolve this to bring the format right to my language?

It looks like you're running into an existing bug, which can be found here:

• Date and Month are not translated in new issue view 

I tested here and indeed, on the new issue view, even changing my profile language and the system language to Portuguese, the calendar on the new issue view shows in English, but on the old view, it shows in Portuguese.
