How to change the output of a custom field

Hello!

I'm trying to create an automation that sends an email to the person who worked on the case as soon as the issue is resolved.

The name of this person is being pulled from a custom field, the problem is that this custom field creates output in array form, and I need it to create output in text form, is there any place where I can change the output of this field?

Hello, you could try something like this:

If your field is single user field:

  • Get email: {{issue.customfield_10174.emailAddress}}
  • Get display name: {{issue.customfield_10174.displayName}}

You can refer to this documentation to see what properties your field has:
