How to change the owner of a project board after the original user was deleted?

In Jira a board for a project has been created by a user that was deleted afterwards. Now no project user can access this board any longer. How can I fix this problem?

Could you look for the board's filter in yoururl/secure/admin/filters/ViewSharedFilters.jspa and change the owner from there?

Hi @Andreas Reymann , welcome to the Atlassian Community and thanks for your question.

If you know the name of the filter for the board, you can go to the System settings and search for the 'Shared Filters' option, where you can search for the person who isn't around anymore as the Owner and then change all of the filters to a new user.
