How to create clickable link to an issue with scriptrunner

Hi,

I have a request from a user who wants to show the link of a Parent task in a sub-task.
We use Scriptrunner (Version 6.56.0). There is a scripted field called "Show parent issue in hierarchy". However, we are seeing that there you need to enter the Parent Issue type.

Many Teams will use Sub Tasks with various issue types, so I am hoping to have a catch-all.

I saw from the Adaptivitist website that I can use the following code snippet to get the Parent ticket ID. Which seems to be working fine, and it is nice and simple:

issue.getParentObject()

However, I would like to find a way to actually add a link to the Parent issue. Is this possible? I am assuming it has to be, but my Google skills are obviously not up to scratch.

I do not really understand the need. It's already the case.

On the top of the issue view, above Edit button you have the project picture, then project name then parent issue and finally subtask key.

All information is clickable.

Hi,

The team wanted a clickable link direct from the Board in the Issue Details View.
The plan was to scrpit the field. In the end I found a solution to make it linkable. But it seems that one can not add a scripted field to the Issue Details View.
