How to display issue flag reason on card on board

Hi, i can flag an issue displayed on my board. When flagging i can also add a reason, which i understand is saved on the issue as a comment. How can i display the flag reason on the card?

Other products (e.g. Microsoft devops) allow you to hover on the flag and see the reason. As an Agile Coach and Scrum Master these little things make a huge difference in practice. Please listen.

Hi @Nick Fifield 

It is possible to add a custom field and capture some of the comment text when the issue is flagged, such as with an automation rule, and then show the comment on the card.  You would need another rule to clear the custom field when the flag is removed.

However...more often than not, that field would be empty and take up limited space on the cards on the board.  And for the cards already flagged and highlighted on the board, it seems easy to find them and quickly open them to review the comment.

Hi Nick,

You are not going to be able to display Comments on the card on the board. There can be multiple comments and comments are basically paragraph text, and the card is not designed to display those.
