How to downgrade a plugin without uninstalling the plugin.

Hello,

i am currently facing an issue i need to downgrade the smart attachment pluing to older version becuasue of inbuild pluing dependency issue but we should not uinstall the plugin because the files in the categories are going to the default folder.
