How to grant permission to only one of two project with the same permission scheme

As far as I understood permission schemes are used to regulate access to projects for users and groups. If i have two projects with the same permission scheme, is it possible to grant permission to only one of the two project to a certain user group?

Hi Lisa - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

If the shared Permission Scheme is setup to use project roles instead of groups, then you can control the projects differently by who is in what project roles.

Hi @Lisa Zanini

Welcome to the Atlassian Community!!

First, you need to have Jira Admin Global Permission.

1. Copy the default Permission scheme and rename the permission scheme which you have copied.

2. Make changes as per your requirement like grant permissions.

3. Associate newly created Permission scheme to Projects that you want to Associate.

Thanks,

Mayur
