How to know if a user can see/comment/update an issue via rest? With custom security schema

I'm currently using the method user/permission/search to know if user has a given permission for a given project. The problem I have is I'm not sure if the method is using the security schema and the issue selected level.

Is it possible that the user is returned although the user is not included in the issue security level?

Hi Robert, please ignore this question. I was using the project key instead of the issue key when searching for permission. Yes, I'm creating an AC addon
