before we got the new Epic Link mechanism we had the 'Epic' field, which was editable in JIRA as well. Using this field it was possible to link Epics with its childs without GreenHopper.

How is it to be done now?

thx,

Florian

Linking has to be done inside GreenHopper itself. Shortly you will also get a feature to directly create stories from Epics directly in JIRA view issue page (upcoming releases).
