I followed the guide from atlassian to link to a Github account. I created a new account which has writing-rights to our organizations private repositories. I linked to that user in JIRA.
But it always displays "No repositories".
I found answers and workaround hacks but they do not work / the steps aren't correct anymore. They're mostly 2 years old already anyway.
So, whats the 2015 way of connecting JIRA and Github (Private Repositories from Organizations)?
Hi Sumit,
When you link an account through the JIRA DVCS connector, the connector locates all the public and private repositories owned by the account. This was a problem resolved couple years ago (see https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/DCON-324). Perhaps, you might be going through this bug (https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/DCON-419) which won't bring the list of repositories.
Please try the workaround suggested and let us know how that goes.
Hope this helps!
Cheers!
