How to make Issue Security a field in the new issue field?

A team is requiring that "Issue Security" be visible in the Jira New View. When we go to the Issue Layout field according to this document (https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirasoftwarecloud/configuring-the-issue-detail-view-764478043.html), the Issue Security field cannot be selected in the Primary/Secondary field.

How do we get the Issue Security to be a selectable field in that screen? Otherwise it won't show up in the new issue view.

Hello Jonathan,

As you might know, the New Issue View is still a lab feature on JIRA, so we are still implementing some features like the security level field.

For now, we have a feature request created to track the progress of our developers to implement it:

- Jira New Issue view does not display the Security Level of an issue

Feel free to vote and watch the suggestion to increase its priority and also receive notifications about any updates.

For now, we recommend your team to keep using the old UI to use the Security Level field.
