How to query for sub-tasks of a list of stories

Matt Mace January 16, 2019

I want to create a search filter that will return all the sub-tasks for each of a list of stories. So in a sprint I have 10 stories. I would like a query that returns each of the stories in the sprint with the sub-tasks listed under each story.

Example:

PROJ-0001 (story)

  • PROJ-0004 (sub-task)
  • PROJ-0005 (sub-task)

Proj-0002 (Story)

  • PROJ-0006 (sub-task)

.

.

.

It would be even better if it could be Epic -> Story -> Sub-task

Hello,

I think you would need a plugin like Portfolio or Structure. Out of the box Jira can not represent hierarchies.
