Hi, is there any way to create a report on specific details of my issues?
I have two custom details integrated in my issue cards, such as "planned work count" and "actual work count". To get an overview whether a issue is resolved as planned or not it would be great to have a report diagramm to show these two details in comparison for each issue.
Has someone done this kind of report diagram already or do you have a recommendation for an add on app?
Hello @Lilli Hauser
Welcome to the Atlassian community.
If you want to simply show a list of issues and the values for those two fields you can do that by creating and saving a Filter to select the issues, then displaying the results of the filter on a Jira Dashboard with the Filter Results gadget. People would need to be licensed users of Jira with permission to see the issues, and you would need to share the Filter and the Dashboard with them, for them to see the results.
Note that natively Jira is not able to create a filter that compares two issue fields, so you would not be able to create a filter that, for instance, gave you a list of issues where
actual work count > planned work count.

There are lots of ways to report on issue data, that's one of the main functions of an issue tracker!
The question here is how you want to compare them, and more importantly, what your reports are trying to tell people about your tracked items.
Step back from the "I need a report that says X", and explain what problem or reporting need you are trying to deal with. What is the question your people are asking?
