How to restrict visibility of a category of the JSM portal

partha.sarker August 17, 2021

Hi there,

I like to know how a certain group of people can see or access one particular category, meaning other groups will not be able to see that category on the same portal? For example, we want to make "Request cube" available ONLY for "Commercial" department, which means other departments will not be able to see "Request cube" category on the same portal. How? Thank you.

Hi @partha.sarker ,

I know this is possible in server with usage of Extension for Jira Service Management app. Even though there's cloud version of this app, this particular functionality is not available because of the limitations of cloud. So I believe the only possible way is to create another portal for this category.
