How to see if a version is released?

Robert M_ Münch April 24, 2014

How can I see if a version was marked as released?

We are working with versions and I somehow need to get an overview page to see past, actual and future releases. There are release-dates but these are used for future planned release dates as well. So, this doesn't work as: IS-RELEASED check.

Not what I mean. I know HOW to release a version.

What I need is a visual feedback THAT a version is release in all places where a version number is shown / used.

Ah. You stated you were looking at the date, and didn't mention anything about knowing how to release.

Nip into the version maintenance for the project. You'll see that versions can be released and archived (and merged and unreleased and unarchived). It's independent of the release date too.
