Hi @aetherinno ,

Can you check if a user is having "Transition issues" permission on a specific project?. If a user is having this permission then check if the transition is available from TO DO to CLOSED. If it is not there then you need to add a transition between TO Do to CLOSED status.

Hi @aetherinno ,

To verify this, You need to be a project admin or JIRA admin or system admin. Then go to Project setting -> Permission scheme in that you will be able to see the "Transition Issues" permission. I have added some screenshots for your reference.

For transition issues permission to enable moving a task from TODO (Open) to Closed, go to Project Settings > Summary > Under Workflows, Press Edit for the Scheme.

In the diagram, you want to set "Done" to "Allow all statuses to transition to this one".

If you can't get to that stage, there is as @[deleted] a permission impediment that is preventing you from editing such project settings.
