I can't see component field in my jira issues?

I'm trying to link compass components to jira but I cannot see component field in my jira issue?

Hi @vibhav_s_mb and welcome,

please check that Component Field is on the view screen associated to your issue type within project. Moreover, please check that component filed has not been hidden in the field configuration scheme.

First, check if you have the necessary permissions to add components to the project (project role/ group).

Second, take a look at this article:https://support.atlassian.com/jira-software-cloud/docs/configure-compass-components/

More specifically: 

1. Next to Create component, check that the project is using Compass components and not Jira components. If it’s switched to Jira components, your project admin will need to switch to Compass components.
