I have an issue with my kanban board counters, I see huge number of issues .

I created a new board for my sprint stories counters are showing 5 out of 220 while stories are 5 

this is confusing as I need to show my sprint statistics in this board depending on the sprint scope

can someone help with this?

What is the board filter?  What does it return when run in the issue navigator?

Have you drawn loads of issues into the current sprint?

Also, it is unclear what the numbers 5 and 220 are - story points?  Numbers of issues?  Could you explain these?
