I need to clean all the useless screens from a used Jira instance.

I need to work in a Jira Software instance (server) and clean all the unused or duplicated screens. Since I have a lot of projects created I need recommendations to start my duty.
Should I check the screen schemes first and check the screens one by one?
Please guide me, thanks.

Don't worry about the screens themselves to start with - look at the projects for duplication and simplification first.  Change the screens used by their issue type screen schemes to take duplicates and unwanted screens out.

Once you've done that, go to Admin -> Issues -> Screens for the list.  This admin section lists all the screens and where they are configured for use, so you can then just delete any screen that isn't used.

Thanks! I'm going to try this way.
