I unable to configure and view gerrit in jira

I'm trying to configure gerrit plugin to work with my jira 6.4.13 
I have installed Gerrit plugin 2.3 and I keep on getting this exception
2016-06-26 15:13:58,596 http-bio-8080-exec-988 ERROR 913x1094623x3 15xkxz8 /secure/AjaxIssueAction!default.jspa[jira.plugin.issuetabpanel.IssueTabPanelInvokerImpl] getActions does not implement IssueTabPanel.com.atlassian.jira.plugin.issuetabpanel.IssueTabPanel3Adaptor(com.atlassian.jira.issues.Issue, com.atlassian.crowd.embedded.api.User). This likely means the plugin is not compatible with this version of JIRA.
