I want a add a new field dynamically if a specific value is selected in the drop down menu

sort of dynamic custom field app. but for server version and FREE if possible.

my suggestion is to use scriptrunner for jira (https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/6820/scriptrunner-for-jira?tab=overview&hosting=cloud). Setup a behaviour to hide/show fields based on criteria (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Jt9BIlGcq4)

Hey @Fabio Racobaldo _Catworkx_ - Thanks for your suggestion. It looks promising from the video, however, as I mentioned, I would rather prefer it to be a free tool which in this case is a false statement.
