In a board I created, the Timeline had a JQL Filter

Brooke Collins January 10, 2024

I have 2 boards, one board - I have access to the Timeline and can create Epics/add tasks to it. The OTHER board - I do not have access to the Timeline. How do I get access to the Timeline for my 2nd board?

Thanks!

Hello @Brooke Collins

The Timeline feature will be available only when the underlying board filter is structured to explicitly reference one and only one project.

That means the filter must include:

project=X

The filter can have other criteria joined to the above with an AND operator.

If the board filter generates a scope that includes more than one project then the Timeline feature will not be available.

Since you have a Premium subscription you could look at using the Advanced Roadmaps Plans feature to create a timeline for that board.
