Is Advanced Road Maps actually part of the Data Center License? the documentation is confusing

Hi can someone please confirm if Advanced Road Maps is actually part of the Data Center License?

The documentation appear to be a little confusing as it is indicated in some pages that it is, but on other pages it does not mention Data Center. Only Cloud instances.  it is hard to figure out Fact from Fiction.

Also wondering if anyone has any comparisons to indicate if they prefer this over other Apps like "WBS Gantt", "BigGantt" or "User Story Map and Road Map" .

Yes, Advanced Roadmaps is included in the Jira Data Center license since Feb 2021.

This means DC customers do not need to purchase Advanced Roadmaps license separately from Marketplace anymore.

If the Jira product version is 8.15 or upper, then Advanced Roadmaps will be included in the data centre installation and it does not need to be installed as a plugin. If the Jira product version is older, then the plugin can be installed and used using the Jira Data Center license.
