Is there a dynamic checkbox for issue views?

This question is in reference to Atlassian Documentation: Adding a custom field

Hi,

Is there a way to allow users to enter checkbox tasks onto an issue?

This would be as follows:

  • Create or edit and issue
  • While editing add a task in the checkbox area, perhaps "model the trees"
  • Then you can add another, and another, as many as you want

The goal would be almost like having sub tasks but without having sub tasks obscure the scrum view, they're instead simply data on the issue view.

I've had a look and can't find anything so hoping there's a clever way.

thanks,

Jason

There are plugins for task lists. Some work only on Cloud, some only on Server. This one should work for you:
