Is there a way to add more layers to the kanban board ?

I am trying to make a project that needs to have A completed, but A needs a sub task B to be done, which itself needs a few sub tasks done.

The hierarchy would be basically Project -> A -> B -> (C,D,E)

But Jira only lets me creates as far as B. Is there a way, a free one preferably, to do this ?

Jira Software's hierarchy is Epic -> Story -> Sub-task, there's no more layers in plain Jira.

Advanced Roadmaps gives you layers above Epics, but there's no real way to do sub-tasks of sub-tasks in Atlassian software.

The Structure app does allow you to add more layers as well, you might want to take a look at that.
