**Issue Description:**
When attempting to add child issues to an epic, the search functionality within the epic's "Choose An Existing Issue" option is restricted to only displaying issues from the same project as the epic. Issues from other projects are not found, even if the correct issue key for an existing issue in a different project is entered.
**Steps to Reproduce:**
1. Create an epic in Project 1 and go to the epic's screen.
2. Try to add an existing issue to the epic using the "Choose An Existing Issue" option.
3. Enter the issue key of an existing issue from Project 2.
4. Observe that the issue from Project 2 does not appear in the search results.
**Workaround:**
To include an issue from another project into an epic from Project 1:
1. Navigate to the issue in Project 2.
2. Manually enter the parent epic key from Project 1 into the issue’s epic link field.
3. The issue from Project 2 will now be linked to the epic from Project 1.
This workaround allows for cross-project issue linking in spite of the search limitation.
I am also having this same issue and both projects are company managed.
Hello, Good day. Thanks for sharing the workaround. Both the projects are company managed project in your use case ?
