Issue assign permission-restrictions

Hello Experts,

Is it possible to restrict the reporter to assign the issue to his group members?

There are two groups, Group A and B, Every group is having there own users, a1,a2,a3 and b1,b2,b3.

All users can create the issues. Group A user can create issue and assign the tickets to Group B. But Group A users should not able to Assign the issues to a1,a2,a3.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to restrict a specific user from assign issues to a specific group in JIRA, however, we understand how this feature would be useful in some cases.

That being said, we created the following feature request to get it implemented for JIRA Cloud:

- Limit User Picker to members of certain groups/roles in System Fields 

Feel free to vote and watch the suggestion to increase its priority and also receive notifications about any updates.

Additionally, feel free to check some of the comments in the feature request. There are some workarounds applied by other customers that can also work for you. :)
