IssueFunction does not work in quick filters.

Jan Kouba October 8, 2024

Hi all,

My query works fine as a separate JQL through Script Runner Enhanced Search (issueFunction in issuesInEpics("labels=ACPI_2024_4 and committed=yes"))

When putting it as a quick filter on the board, it is not allowed, see screenshot.

Is there some configuration which has to be enabled?image.png

Hi Jan - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

You will need the ScriptRunner app to use that function.

Thanks John.

I have found the full scale solution. It is necessary to run the query using the ScriptRunner app and save the filter. Afterwards, the filter can be referenced  through "filter = ....." query within quick filter.

Great! Glad you were able to use ScriptRunner to do that. Please click the Accept Answer button above so we can close this on out. Thanks!
