JIRA Automation for creating issues in hierarchy

Hi Community,

We need to create automation in jira, while creating initiative issue type its child milestone and under milestone , feature issue type should be created automatically.

Create Issue - Initiative -> Milestone -> Feature

HI Naman,

Have you created a rule yet? If so, can you share that? 

Basically, you want to create a rule based on an Issue Created trigger. Then add a Condition to check if it is Issue Type of Initiative. 

If so, then add an action for Create Issue. Fill in the information for the fields. Then add a Branch for Most recently created issue. Under the Branch add an action for Link Issues. Then choose the appropriate options that match the linkage you have in your Hierarchy.
