I have reflected the activities in my Kanban Board into a JIRA Roadmap and inserted the associated Planned dates - creating the gantt chart view. This is excellent at giving me the plan.
I have custom fields to track actual dates - so we can look at any delivery / testing slippage in reviews etc.
Is there a way of reflecting these Actual dates in the Gantt Chart too - effectively creating a 2nd line for each feature - so we can see graphically any slip?
Hi Andrew,
Currently you cannot add custom fields to the regular Jira Software or Business project timelines. You would need to upgrade to a Premium Subscription and use the Plans feature.

Hi @Andrew Wilks ,
I'm from DevSamurai, the developer of the TeamBoard ProScheduler app. I'm happy to share that our app fully supports the functionality you're looking for in a Gantt chart.
With TeamBoard ProScheduler, you can easily reflect both planned and actual dates directly on the Gantt chart, allowing you to visually track any slippage. Additionally, our tool offers features like dependencies, critical paths, and baseline tracking, making it a comprehensive solution for project planning and management.
Feel free to refer to it and let me know if you need more information.
Best regards,
