JIRA Welcome Plugin - Incompatible

Since I upgraded Jira to v7 the Welcome Plugin (Atlassian Plugin) became incompatible.

I waited some time for a new version and also submitted an update request but a new version was never released, so I uninstalled the plugin.

But, every time I update JIRA to a new revision the plugin is installed again, and it's still incompatible.

What's the point to continue installing an incompatible plugin?

Hey Carlos,

I just updated my staging site and experienced the same issue. I followed this advice from Atlassian, saying that the Welcome Plugin's file should be deleted from jira/plugins/installed-plugins. It seems to work, but I haven't updated again to check if it will be reinstalled.
