JIRA portfolio: order in timeline

Hello,

We try to use the timeline in JIRA portfolio, but when we set the ranking correct and determine the teams, the timeline shows a different order. Some items are prioritized first, but placed at the end of the timeline.

How can we influence the order on the timeline? We think we don't understand the behavior of the timeline correctly.

I filed a support request on this and it was a DISASTER.  The Atlassians who responded obviously didn't even read my questions, and it went back and forth uselessly for months.
