JQL query for "approved in status X"

I have a loop set on my workflow that kicks tickets that have been approved but are missing key information back into the status it was approved in. I want to isolate via query all of the the tickets that have already been approved but were looped back into the status.

Key info: everything loops, we have an automation that picks tickets with all required information up and moves them along. I want to isolate tickets that aren't picked up.

Hi Amy!

If by 'loop' you mean automation rule, then the simplest way to do this is to label the issue 'returned' or similar with the automation rule when sending it back to the prior status. You can then build a query for any issues with this label.
